Antoine Semenyo

Despite the Black Stars' failure to reach the Africa Cup of Nations, which has kept the player available, it appears a major transfer is close. The Bournemouth attacker possesses a contract with a £65 million release clause active for a two-week period in early January. Recent developments indicate Manchester City look to have won the race for his services. Former suitors such as Chelsea and Tottenham reportedly have moved on to other options, potentially opening the door for teams such as Liverpool or Manchester United to attempt a last-minute bid.

Marc Guéhi

The English centre-back has impress for Crystal Palace this season a summer move to Anfield collapsing. As his contract set to expire in the close season, January is the London club's last opportunity to secure a transfer fee for their captain. A host of top sides, such as City and several European giants including Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich, reportedly be interested. Yet, a winter exit is considered difficult, especially given the manager's dependence on the defender.

Brennan Johnson

The Wales forward has found first-team minutes limited at Tottenham this term. Although being the side's top scorer the previous campaign, he has begun just a small number of league matches. It is understood the London club would be open to a transfer for the right price, thought to be in the region of £40 million. The Cherries appear to be at the front of the queue, with Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, and Brentford also showing an inquiry.

Furthermore, there are rumours from Spanish media that he would be prepared to accept a reduced salary for a switch to Real Madrid.

Marc-André ter Stegen

The experienced German shot-stopper finds himself as the third option at Barcelona following new manager Hansi Flick. Having fallen out of favour and had an operation, a January departure seems increasingly likely. Villa were once mentioned as a potential destination, but that option currently seems off. Instead, clubs from Turkey and Saudi Arabia are thought to be expressing interest in the keeper.

Juventus are desperate to tie down the 20-year-old to a new long-term agreement but are in a race to retain one of Europe's brightest prospects.

Kees Smit

This highly-touted Dutch midfielder has earned comparisons to Kevin De Bruyne for his playing style. After starring at the Under-19 European Championship, he has become a regular in the AZ side. This 19-year-old is heavily tipped to complete a major transfer in January. Newcastle reportedly are leading the chase, but could face stiff rivalry from Real Madrid for a signing valued at around twenty-two million pounds.
